We’re excited to share the successful completion of a cutting-edge Car Park Management Solution for Sligo University Hospital, enhancing traffic flow and delivering real-time parking updates for staff and visitors. Here’s a quick look at the project:

𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐑𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬:

With the opening of a new multi-story car park increasing the hospital’s capacity to 800 spaces, Sligo University Hospital needed a smart solution to manage traffic efficiently. The system had to integrate seamlessly with existing access controls, provide real-time updates, and streamline navigation across the 10-acre campus.

𝐒𝐜𝐨𝐩𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤:

𝐇𝐲𝐛𝐫𝐢𝐝 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧:

Power Right implemented a hybrid solution combining both wiring and GSM communication, tailored to the site’s infrastructure constraints.

𝐒𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐭 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐄𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐩𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭:

Given the diverse entry and exit points, including bidirectional lanes and through roads, specialist counting stations were deployed to ensure precise vehicle monitoring.

𝐄𝐧𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐝 𝐒𝐢𝐠𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞 & 𝐀𝐜𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐥:

Variable message signs (VMS) deliver local parking info at each car park entrance, while zonal data is shown at key entry points. A new barrier system with integrated access control efficiently manages staff parking.

𝐂𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐥𝐢s𝐞𝐝 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭:

The entire system is centrally managed via the Counter Server, providing an intuitive and scalable solution for ongoing operations.
